Ibanez gave the exact same answer tonight after hitting a game tying home run in the bottom of the ninth in Wednesday's ALDS, and then a walk off home run to win the game in the 12th. Pinch hitting for A-Rod no less.

As traders it is easy to get wrapped up in the outcome of the "next trade". Sometimes we allow the outcome to become "bottom of the ninth" huge in our minds. In reality the next trade is just another trade in a long line of trades. Think of it like a link in a never ending chain.

We don't need to try and hit it out of the park with every trade. This is especially true for those times when it feels like everything is riding on the outcome of the next trade. Ever felt that way? Well allow yourself to feel no pressure. Just step up to your trading terminal and try to have a good at bat. Look for a good ball to hit and "try not to do too much". Great things can happen.

A quick note about equity. This is normally how I decide when to roll: http://tradersmarts.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-i-handle-contract-rollover.html 

If you look at today's YM / ES chart for Z contract and compare it to U contract you will notice that U contract had more volume than Z on a per interval (1 2 3 4 5 min etc.) char all day. Z contract is likely to take over Friday volume wise but I'll be waiting until the weekend to update TS #'s for Z contract in equity. 

The thing to note here is that U had more volume per interval than Z all day. Obviously this is because of FOMC but normally the new contract will take over within an hour or so of cash open in the AM on the day of the roll. 

I have never witnessed an entire day where old contract had more volume per interval than new contract.

Potential for vertical developement. Long zones have been rising if we get surprise down possible to test into lower key areas which are 12942 - 12872.
